Wedding Wednesday!

Now that we have a wedding planner, we have to sit down and make a list of "must-haves" so we can share our thoughts with him. Our list so far

My must haves/wants are:

pretty decorations

Sally ( she will be a flower girl)

good photographer

gorgeous one of a kind dress... CHECK!

simple cake with only flowers and icing, no fondant or piping crap

Skinny Girl Sangira

I have been obsessed with the Skinny Girl Margaritas for awhile now, but last night Kenny's class mate had a birthday party so we stopped by ABC to pick up a few things and I saw this....

The guy at ABC said they can't keep this stuff on the shelf and that they have people reserving bottles of it! I give it 2 thumbs up:)

Wedding dress shopping success!

We found a dress! We found the prefect dress at a boutique in Gainesville- Solutions. They have a variety of dress that are all customizable and have exclusive designers. The dress we bought has everything and I was looking for in a dress. After we purchased it we celebrated with champagne and loads of pictures of the dress:) Now I have to wait a year to wear it:(

Tomorrow my mom and MOH Kelly are coming into to town so we can try and find a dress! We plan on going to 2 boutiques on Saturday morning and then hanging out the rest of the weekend with some vino. Trying on wedding dresses is stressful because I have no idea what type of dress I am looking for. I defiantly need something light weight though, because I think I will melt in a big dress in August.

Busy Week!

This week has been crazy busy! Kenny started school and I started my job on Monday so we have been going non stop since Sunday. Kenny's program at UF has had two social events already this week, so its been nice being able to meet his fellow classmates. On Saturday we went out to the famous "Swamp" restaurant. The Swamp was rated by ESPN one the top 10 sports bars in the country, needless to say, it's very fun! Then last night we meet up at a bar called Mothers for a few drinks. Kenny loves being a student as UF, its been an adjustment though coming from FGCU. I dropped him off at his first class on Monday morning on my way to work so I made him get out of the car and take a first day of school picture! I feel like a proud mom:)

Happy Birthday Terry:)

Yesterday was Terry's ( Kenny's childhood BFF who is in the same grad program as Kenny) BIRTHDAY! A week ago I told Terry I would make him a cake for his birthday, but yesterday I wasn't feeling the whole cake thing and decided on cupcakes. Terry had requested German Chocolate Cake, so thats what I made! Semi-homemade though... I used box cake mix and made homemade icing.

The boys had their orientation for UF yesterday and played night golf last night. So tonight we are going out on the town to celebrate. I have to end the night early though because I have my first Junior League of Gainesville event tomorrow at 7 am! Yikes! I am excited to get going though and meet new people:)

This is the last weekend of summer! Kenny and I will both be up and going this Monday morning because Kenny's first day of school is Monday, and I start the first day of my new job! Starting this week we have plans basically every weekend untill Christmas. Next weekend my Mom and MOH are coming to go dress shopping with me, and do some wedding planning. The next weekend we are going to Land-O-Lakes to celebrate Labor Day weekend with our friends on the Lake. Then after that its FOOTBALL every weekend, with a few out of town trips, and Tallahassee trips in between.

YAY! FOR A EXCITING FALL:)

Kenny and I have been "attempting" to run stadiums at night, they are alot harder than they look!

On Thursday night in Gainesville you can find everyone at penny wine night... including us:) Last Thursday we met up with Laura and Richie for some penny wine.

Kelly's ( My MOH) little sister, Casey, is a junior at UF and moved into her new apartment on Tuesday so their mom and grandma were in town so we went to happy hour and dinner.

Kelly and I sharing our Bacardi bucket. Through college I worked for Bacardi doing promotions then got Kelly a job, so we love our Bacardi!

Meet Coco.... We baby sat Kenny's bosses chiwawa for the week. Sally isn't to found of other dogs, and gets very jealous. Poor Sally:( Coco was a bundle of energy, Sally has never seen a dog with that amount of energy before so we had a entertaining week watching them play.

They were really good! We had them with Alexia's sweet potatoe fries. If you haven't tried these you must! They are my new favorite thing and Kenny even loved them!

I love this monogram app!

I found this app about a year ago on accident, but I love it:)

It allows you to choose your font and colors. It does cost though, I think a dollar? But I found it worth it!
