OFF TO DC!!

My bags are packed and I'm off to D.C. for the 4th of July with all my closet friends:)! Kenny and Sally have to stay behind because of work:( I am going to miss them, but Kenny didn't want me sitting at home all weekend being bored.

O, WEDDING WEDNESDAY!

So we might go with another venue... After talking with a wedding planner, and photographer they really suggested a different venue.

Goodwood Carriage House is a venue we really LOVE.

This venue is located in the heart of Tallahassee-very close to downtown and is very spacious. We LOVE it! I think we will be happy with either venue, but we really love Goodwood. Growing up I remember going to Goodwood- they hold craft fairs, meetings, plays, etc.

It's set up like a Plantation with the main house, and then a bunch of little cottages around the property.

A day in the life of... ME:)!

A day in the life of me being unempl0yed consists of..

- Getting up around 10 making coffee and a green smoothie.

-Going to the gym.

-Applying for JOBS!!!

-Making 10 million "lists"

-Make dinner

-Take Sally for a walk to Mochi, yummy:) Sally loves frozen yogurt!

Keurig is the best thang eva... Coffee for lazy people who like to skip the usual 10 steps to make a cup of coffee.

Last Week Fun, and this Weekends Plans

I forgot to put pictures up from last weekend! Our friends Tommy( Kenny's BM) and Jenna came to visit us! I think we had too much fun! Friday when they got here, we took them to the dueling piano bar, which was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, we will DEFINITELY be back there.

Saturday we got a late start but we made it to Ginnie Springs. Those of you who don't know what Ginnie Springs is.. WELL it is basically a river you float down all day and drink beer. I can't wait to fo back it was that fun. People are lined down the river camping out, playing volleyball, having BBQS, and drinking ALOT.

You have to go through this small town , High Springs to get to Ginnie Springs. We stopped at this random store for some cute photo ops.

Saturday night we made Jenna and Tommy experience Dragonfly, they loved it! Kenny and I can't get enough.

One of Kenny's fraternity brother (Adam) moved to Gainesville for grad school too, so we went with Laura to Salty Dog once again.

This weekend my Mom comes, hopefully she will want to go to brunch on Sunday. Kenny and I have been wanting to try the million of brunch places in town.

6 years and counting!

Kenny and I celebrated our 6 YEAR ANNIVERSARY today:)

I can't believe 6 years has gone by so fast!

We went to our favorite restaurant Bonefish to celebrate:) YUM!!

O- and Kenny bought me a dog:)

Wedding Wednesday: Bridesmaids

To ask each of the bridesmaids to be part of our wedding I made them a little bag with a mini bottle of wine and a monogrammed koozie. I put a little personalized tag on each one with a monogrammed ribbon to tie the bag- I think they are pretty cute if I do say so my self:)

I think I am getting more worried about the bridesmaids dresses than the actual wedding dress.LOL

I love the idea of cream/champagne bridesmaids dresses.

MONOGRAM MONDAY!!!!!

IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!:)

So excited to get this thing running! We bought this machine on Ebay, and the lady who sold it to us was closing down a monograming shop so she included all the equipment, hoops, thread, backing, shirts, bags, hats and more. She said in the description that it would be a few boxes... well when the moving company delivered it to us they brought up 21 boxes!!! 3 boxes just of thread! SOOO what to monogram first? HMMM?

As of right now there are so many things to do-register with the state for a small business, apply for a wholesale license, start a website, etc!

O! And think of a name...

NEWS NEWS and more NEWS

1. I had been wanting a monograming machine for a while.... My dad told me about 8 years ago that he would buy me one and I never took him up on until NOW! We finally purchased one and now just awaiting the arrival of it!!!!

2. Kenny got a JOB:) He starts Tuesday! Now, if only I could get one!

3. I had applied to be a member of the Junior League of Gainesville about a month ago. Today I got a email from the JLG welcoming me to the organization! My new member classes start in August:)

Sweet Home Tallahassee

Tallahassee is where Kenny and I grew up and while my parents now live in south Florida now Kenny's family still lives there. So this past weekend we went up for a quick 24 hour trip, its nice being only 2 hours away now rather than 5-6 hours away! Saturday night Kenny's dad and his wife Karen took us to a Jimmy Buffet themed party. I only took a few pictures when we first got there and then I completely forgot to take more:(

I took this picture because I was amazed how much stuff we took for a little 24 hour trip... Sally's in the back too you just cant see her. We did take our laundry though, so THANK YOU NANA who did our laundry and folded it:))))

Gainesville doesn't have much goin on soo.... while we have been unemployed we have spent our time playing with sally, drinking wine, and experimenting in the kitchen.
